Your Role 

As a Senior Fundraiser, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our fundraising strategies in the US. Your work will directly contribute to securing critical funding that enables Transparency International to continue its fight against corruption. 

Team: Fundraising Team (TI US) 

Reporting Line: Executive Director TI US 

Salary and Benefits: The salary range is up to $150k  

Starting Date: as soon as possible 

Hours: full time, hybrid working mode, with a strong preference for NY or DC area residence 

Location: US based (preference for Washington D.C. or New York) 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Building and managing donor relationships with foundations and high-net-worth individuals, identifying new funding opportunities, and nurturing long-term partnerships. 
  • Developing fundraising strategies in collaboration with the TI US and global fundraising teams to drive donor engagement and revenue growth.  
  • Implementing and optimizing fundraising initiatives that align with organizational priorities and maximize impact. 
  • Organizing and overseeing fundraising events that expand TI’s reach and donor base. 
  • Creating compelling proposals and communication materials that effectively convey our vision, strategy, and programs to potential funders. 

Your Profile 

We are looking for an experienced and driven professional who brings: 

  • Proven success in major gifts and foundation fundraising, backed by 5+ years of experience 
  • An understanding of philanthropic trends and a strong network within the philanthropic sector. 
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to implement plans to drive fundraising growth. 
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to engage diverse stakeholders. 
  • A values-driven work ethic and a deep commitment to promoting the principles of open and democratic government. 
  • A university degree or equivalent qualification in fundraising, marketing, or a related field.
