The 20th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) will be hosted by the United States government, organized by Transparency International and in partnership with Transparency International U.S. in Washington, D.C. from December 6-10, 2022.

The IACC is the world’s largest independent forum to fight corruption, with representatives from 140 countries. This year the conference will focus on the theme “Uprooting Corruption, Defending Democratic Values”. As the world faces myriad challenges, workshops and plenary sessions will discuss how corruption fuels threats – and how we can fight it.

Gary Kalman, executive director of Transparency International U.S. said:

“Given current headlines, it’s easy to be cynical. But the scope of our challenges also helps to explain the importance of this gathering at this time and place. The IACC offers the promise for progress and a pathway forward. This global forum has long served as a place for discussion, debate and agreement to take meaningful action. We are delighted to host the IACC in the U.S. this year and bring together a remarkably diverse set of leaders and advocates at this critical moment.”

Media accreditation for the IACC is now open. Accredited journalists will have full access to the conference, as well as the press exclusive room and daily briefings, free of charge. Apply here:
